Government Relations (Senior) Specialist

Responsibilities :

Government Relations & Certifications

  • Coordinate with government entities including : Ministry of Investment (MISA), Ministry of Commerce (MC), Saudi Organization for Chartered Accountants (SBC), Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), MODON (Saudi Industrial Property Authority), Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MOL), Qiwa Platform, General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), Mudad Platform, Ministry of Interior (MOI), Muqeem Platform, Balady Platform (BALADY) : Manage municipal licensing, renewals, and modifications based on business activity.
  • Follow up on document attestations from relevant authorities (e.g., Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chambers of Commerce, Embassies).
  • Resolve issues related to company accounts on platforms such as Muqeem, Qiwa, GOSI, Balady, and Jawazat.
  • Visit government offices to resolve inquiries, violations, or account-related problems.

Business Setup & Development

  • Execute company formation procedures including documentation, legal coordination, and official submissions.
  • Support contract processing with external entities related to business setup.
  • Understand Saudization requirements and manage profession changes in line with company activity and Nitaqat classification.
  • Prepare periodic reports on licensing and registration status.
  • Customs Clearance

  • Coordinate with customs authorities for import / export operations.
  • Follow up on customs clearance procedures and ensure documentation compliance.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in government relations or business setup.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi government systems and platforms, including BALADY and Jawazat.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and decision‑making under pressure.
