Overview
Lean is scaling fast, with 130+ employees across our markets, and our People function is evolving to match that growth. This role will focus on global employee lifecycle operations, with a strong emphasis on KSA and UAE-based immigration and compliance work. You’ll work closely with Legal, Finance, Office Managers, and external providers to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll also take on reporting, payroll inputs, and policy compliance support. You’ll be joining a lean People team where proactivity, ownership, and speed of execution matter. If you\'re systems-oriented, practical, and eager to learn, this role will offer strong exposure and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to automate manual People Ops processes and explore and implement tools that improve efficiency, accuracy, or scalability
- Support visa, immigration, and relocation processes for UAE and KSA
- Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and visa tracking logs
- Coordinate onboarding logistics (contracts, IDs, system access)
- Handle employee queries related to benefits, leave, and documentation
- Own offboarding processes, documentation, and system updates
- Track visa expirations, license renewals, and regulatory deadlines
- Collaborate with Legal, Office Managers, and external PROs
- Support monthly headcount and people reporting (dashboards, trackers)
- Assist with payroll data preparation and accuracy checks
- Bring an understanding of employment regulation to support policy reviews
- Contribute to documenting and improving People processes in Notion
Qualifications
2+ years experience in People Ops or HR administration rolesStrong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive dataOrganized, proactive, and highly process-orientedExperience handling visa and immigration workflows (UAE essential)Comfortable working with HR systems, spreadsheets, and checklistsInterest in growing within a broader People career pathDesired qualifications
Experience supporting distributed teams in multiple countriesFamiliarity with payroll input and review processesExposure to HR reporting tools or dashboard creationStrong documentation and written communication skillsPrior work in a startup or fast-paced environmentSeniority level
