Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Manager (B&R) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving commercial strategy and managing high‑value contracts related to the Belt and Road initiative and other international infrastructure projects.

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with organizational goals and the B&R initiative.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, partners, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Manage complex infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand our presence in the B&R ecosystem.
  • Assess and mitigate commercial risks associated with large‑scale international projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, investors, and industry partners.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on commercial matters related to the B&R initiative.
  • Oversee a team of commercial professionals, fostering their growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial management, with a focus on international infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful commercial strategies.
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation, financial analysis, and risk management.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the Belt and Road initiative and its economic implications.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development within an international context.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required for project management and business development.
