Provide strategic leadership and direction for the successful execution of multiple railway projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Oversee all phases of project lifecycle : planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out. Lead and mentor project teams, including project managers, engineers, and support staff, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration. Ensure effective project controls, including schedule, cost management, risk management, and quality assurance across the portfolio. Establish strong relationships with clients, government authorities, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate coordination and resolve issues. Lead contract negotiations, administration, and ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements. Prepare and present reports to executive management on project status, key risks, and recommended actions. Drive innovation, value engineering, and continuous improvement to optimize project outcomes. Champion the adoption of international best practices, while respecting local requirements and standards. Serve as a role model in upholding the organization's values and reputation. Profile / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an advantage. Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the management and delivery of complex railway, metro, or large-scale infrastructure projects. Demonstrated track record of successful project / construction delivery in leadership roles. Comprehensive understanding of railway systems, infrastructure interfaces, and delivery methodologies. Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, international standards, and health & safety regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to engage, lead, and motivate large, multidisciplinary teams. Proficient in project and construction management software / tools. Fluency in English and Arabic.
