Overview
Carrying out Engineering and Airworthiness requirements relating to aircraft engines and APUs. This includes liaising with internal departments, external manufacturers and subcontracted MROs on all matters relating to the required Power plant engineering.
Functional
- Participating in the technical evaluation, purchase and lease of engines and APU’s.
- Managing engines leasing accounts and monitor end-of-lease requirements, including maintenance reserves
- Engines and APU’s SV Cost Control including warranty claims, maintenance reserves and budgeting
- Participating in the technical evaluation for engines and APU’s maintenance and lease contracts
- Fleet management - Manage All engines and APUs in the fleet
- Support Aircraft redelivery team to resolving queries
Operational
Periodically obtain and evaluate for all AD’s, SB’s for engines and APU’s. and define them in AMOSReview engine trend monitoring, oil consumption and engine history in case of issued CNRs / advisories and Pilot / MCC reports on engine / APU issuesForecasting the removal plans for all engines and APU’s on weekly basis .Preparation of shop visit work scopes for engines and APU’s. and monitor SV progress till completion.Liaison with aircraft manufacturer / OEM regarding any issue.Reviewing Engines & APU’s SV documentation, AD / SB Status, LLP data, LLP Back to Birth documentation, analyzing engine trend data to establish the condition of the engines. Ensure all the data in the AMOS related to engines and APU is entered correctly.Enforce applicable safety and security regulation and standards.People ManagementCascade knowledge down the line.Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering / Mechanical engineering.
