Develop and implement master planning strategies that align with DACO's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Ensure the master planning strategy is well communicated and understood by relevant DACO personnel.
Lead the development of large-scale planning and development projects based on best practices and collaborate with top management on the selection and implementation of these projects.
Anticipate future trends, challenges, and opportunities in urban planning and real estate while and developing long-term plans and strategies that balance growth, sustainability, and community needs.
Operational Excellence
Oversee the development and continuous updating of master plans, ensuring they meet DACO’s long-term goals and are adaptable to evolving needs.
Lead the application of urban planning principles, land use planning, zoning regulations, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable development practices in master planning processes, including site analysis, spatial planning, transportation planning, and infrastructure development.
Leverage a strong understanding of real estate development processes, including site acquisition, financial feasibility analysis, permitting, design, construction, and project delivery and Apply real estate market dynamics, property valuation, investment analysis, and risk assessment to make informed development decisions.
Integrate sustainable planning practices, including green building standards (LEED, BREEAM), energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management, into master plans and develop innovative strategies that enhance community value, promote biodiversity preservation, and align with urban development trends to drive economic growth.
Direct the creation and maintenance of design standards, zoning regulations, and development guidelines, ensuring consistency and technical relevance across all projects.
Ensure the integration of sustainable practices and innovative technologies in all planning and development initiatives to enhance environmental performance and operational efficiency.
Manage the coordination of planning efforts with other departments, ensuring that all projects are aligned with operational requirements and timelines.
Lead the site analysis and selection process, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Direct the preparation of detailed development proposals, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for potential projects, ensuring they are robust and aligned with DACO’s strategic objectives.
Oversee the implementation of master plans, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and implementation of master planning initiatives.
Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, investors, developers, and the public to negotiate agreements and successfully implement master planning initiatives.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and support for planning initiatives, addressing inquiries, and resolving discrepancies related to development projects.
Engage with regulatory authorities, community stakeholders, and consultants to ensure that planning initiatives meet legal requirements and are aligned with community expectations.
