The General Manager - IT and Digitalization will be based in Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
The General Manager - IT and Digitalization will be responsible for :
- Developing and executing a comprehensive digitalization and innovation strategy across IT and OT domains
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing organisation of 100+ IT professionals, with direct oversight of IT operations, cybersecurity, and digital initiatives
- Driving the adoption of AI, automation, and smart technologies to improve operational efficiency and business performance
- Ensuring optimal utilisation and continuous improvement of the SAP S / 4HANA platform
- Collaborating with executive leadership and business units to embed technology into core operations
- Managing the IT and digitalization budget, ensuring cost-efficiency, value delivery, and alignment with strategic objectives
- Designing and delivering a multi-year digital roadmap aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements
- Establishing and enforcing best-in-class cybersecurity, data governance, and IT service management practices
- Actively coaching and developing Saudi national talent, with a focus on succession planning and capability building
The General Manager - IT and Digitalization will be / have :
A Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's is preferred)20+ years of IT and digital leadership experience, with at least 10 years in leadership rolesDeep knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA environments, industrial IT systems, and operational technology integrationProven success in leading large, complex IT organisations through change and innovationDemonstrated experience in talent development, including mentoring Saudi nationals and building succession pipelinesStrong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, and digital governancePrior experience in petrochemical, manufacturing and production, or heavy industry sectors is highly preferredDigital transformation expertiseStakeholder management and change leadership skillsExcellent communication skillsInnovative mindset and passion for technologyA keen interest in the latest industry developments and trends, and ability to apply these to the organisationBased in / willing to relocate to the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia#J-18808-Ljbffr
