Role Overview The Architect Consultant will provide expert architectural and design guidance across projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards, design guidelines, and international benchmarks (SBC, BS, ASTM, ISO). The role supports VVIP and high-security facilities, providing specialized technical advice to optimize functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design Advisory & Review :
Review architectural plans and ensure compliance with standards and benchmarks.
Recommend design improvements for functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
Project Oversight & Coordination :
Work with project teams to align design with operational needs.
Guide space planning and layout optimization; conduct site inspections.
Compliance & Quality Assurance :
Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare reports for audits and maintain quality standards.
Innovation & Strategic Input :
Advise on new technologies, materials, and sustainable practices.
Support long‑term planning and facility upgrades.
Stakeholder Engagement :
Act as architectural advisor for sensitive / VVIP projects.
Liaise with contractors and consultants; ensure client satisfaction.
Documentation & Reporting :
Develop design guidelines and maintain records of decisions.
Contribute to post‑implementation reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural consultancy, preferably within FM or large‑scale projects.
Professional registration or membership (AIA or equivalent) preferred.
Relevant certifications such as PMP or IFMA are an advantage.
Strong knowledge of international architectural standards, codes, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Candidate Profile
Ability to work 6‑day weeks.
Flexible on location as traveling would be involved depending on the project's requirements.
