About the Opportunity
As the Infrastructure Delivery Director, you will oversee and direct the entire lifecycle of large‑scale infrastructure projects, from conception through to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
- Provide executive leadership for the infrastructure delivery division, setting the strategic direction and ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle for multiple large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration across all phases from design to construction and handover.
- Develop and implement best practices in project delivery, driving continuous improvement and innovation across the division.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-level clients, partners, and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic project matters.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage high-value client agreements, ensuring favorable terms and mitigating risks for the company.
- Collaborate with C‑suite executives to develop business strategies, identify new market opportunities, and drive growth in the infrastructure sector.
- Manage and mentor a team of senior project managers and technical experts, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
- Oversee the financial performance of the infrastructure portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to the board.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies across all projects.
- Drive the adoption of cutting‑edge technologies and methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in media engagements as a thought leader in infrastructure delivery.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.Minimum of 20 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple complex, large-scale infrastructure projects (>$500 million) on time and within budget.
Extensive experience in strategic planning, risk management, and financial oversight of major infrastructure portfolios.Strong understanding of various project delivery models (e.g., Design‑Build, PPP) and their application in different contexts.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large, multidisciplinary teams across diverse projects and geographies.Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with high-level government officials and C‑suite executives.Profound knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and global best practices in infrastructure delivery.Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Proven ability to drive innovation and implement change management strategies across large organizations.International experience and familiarity with global infrastructure markets is highly desirable.Strong business acumen with a track record of contributing to company growth and profitability.Benefits
