Job Description :
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Contracts Manager to join our team!
In this role, you will get to lead strategic planning, contract management, and procurement initiatives for complex projects, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and value creation.
Responsibilities
Drive strategic planning initiatives, including risk assessments, bid / no-bid analysis, and business case development for complex projects.
Provide legal interpretation and technical guidance on contract terms, procurement frameworks, and governance documentation (Board and ExCom level).
Lead the design, negotiation, and administration of bespoke contracts, subcontracts, and variation strategies, including for sovereign wealth funds and infrastructure megaprojects.
Oversee recruitment, mentoring, and performance management of contract and legal teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and plans that ensure compliance, efficiency, and value creation.
Manage the full tender lifecycle (ITQ / RFP / RFQ), including drafting, evaluation, and award processes.
Advise on contract variations, change management, and dispute resolution, including payment claims and legal vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with project leadership to ensure robust support in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and execution oversight.
Represent the company in regulatory, policy-making, and industry forums related to procurement and contractual governance.
Maintain active engagement in professional legal and commercial societies to stay abreast of evolving industry standards.
Conduct audits, interventions, and reviews of contractual performance and compliance across divisions.
Provide cradle-to-grave contract support to end users, offering strategic guidance and execution oversight.
Qualifications What Required Skills You'll Bring :
Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Law or any related field.
15+ years of experience in legal practice, commercial advisory, and contract management across global engineering sectors.
Strong experience with FIDIC contract forms and their application in post-contract scenarios.
