Position Overview The

Senior Accountant

is a key member of the finance team responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role involves overseeing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and process related charges.

Prepare and review joint venture reconciliations and allocations.

Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Assist in preparing and updating cash flow forecasts.

Ensure accruals and ledger postings are accurate and complete.

Monitor compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Support statutory and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.

Provide assistance and guidance to finance team members on day-to-day queries.

Work closely with the Finance Manager on various ad-hoc tasks and projects.

What we are looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience; prior experience in the construction or contracting industry will be considered a strong advantage

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.

Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
