Position Details

  • Location / Department : Building and Infrastructure
  • Reporting to : Project Manager / Operations Manager
  • Key Working Relationship : All KSA BIC business units

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Education : Degree / Bachelor’s in HSE
  • Technical Knowledge : Develop and deliver HSE training programs, NoBESH, OSHA certified, Attend health and safety committee meetings, Risk Assessment and Management, Safety Management Systems (SMS), Emergency Preparedness and Response, Data Analysis and Reporting, Construction Safety
  • Experience : 10 years and above in medium & large building facilities / projects
  • Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of digital health, safety and environment strategy.
  • Oversee contractor compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, verify root cause analysis, monitor corrective actions.
  • Manage distribution of tasks / visits across H&S inspectors, ensure ongoing activities monitored.
  • Verify implementation of safety policies, procedures and programs for compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessment for ongoing activities.
  • Chair safety awareness sessions, STBTs.
  • Develop Job Hazard Analysis for ongoing activities.
  • Manage safety training; create awareness sessions related to preventive measures to prevent H&S accidents.
  • Technical Expertise and QHSSE Responsibilities

  • Implement BV safety programs within the team.
  • Ensure employees receive required safety training, proper PPEs, enforce safety rules.
  • Include HSE KPIs in yearly performance reviews.
  • Perform HSE campaigns and monitor staff safety performance.
  • Create and update Risk Assessment for the department, project QHSSE plans.
  • Assist HSE team in investigations, report hazards and incidents, comply with legal requirements, BV HSE Policies.
  • Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free; report any deviation / fault / hazard immediately to the location manager / line manager / HSE Representative.
  • Report immediately to HSE Representative about any newly identified hazard, participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate / minimize the pertinent risk.
  • Report immediately to HSE Representative about any HSE incident and cooperate in the investigation.
