Senior Oncology Product Specialist

Location : Jeddah

ROLESUMMARY

Isresponsible for generating clinical demand for Oncology brands withkey accounts proactively identifying business opportunitiespresenting value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs andobjectives and recommending solutions to drive and developbusiness. Develop strategic and mutually beneficial relationshipswith the MultiDisciplinary Team (MDT) Decision Making Unit (DMU)and potentially other stakeholders based on a deep scientificunderstanding of the issues in order to identify the bestopportunities for any part of AZs Oncology portfolio to deliverlifechanging medicines to patients. Allocates own time for 90% bein field; 10%officebased.

Whatyoull do

Develop accountstrategy and plans :

  • Identifyopportunities and strategies to improve positioning of AZs Oncologyproducts at a local level
  • Work with SalesManager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meettargets and further improve positioning of AZs Oncology products ata locallevel

Create deep stakeholder relationships :

  • Engage Oncology HCPs indialogue about approved indications product efficacy / safetyprofiles and treatment protocols to support onlabel prescribing forappropriate patients
  • Establish and maintainongoing long term collaborative relationships
  • withstakeholders

  • Share stakeholder insight andinformation within AZ to strengthen relevant activities e.g.product development marketing salesefforts
  • Build capability and knowledge in healthcareecosystem :

  • Build knowledgeand understanding about AZs overall Oncology value proposition andproducts labeled indications and efficacy data among all relevantstakeholders in the MDT and DMU
  • Utilizedifferent communication approaches techniques and channels to helpbuild knowledge in the MDT and DMUincluding
  • Conduct sciencebased discussions withthe HCP as per the approved indications of AZsproducts
  • Arrange multidisciplinary workshopsfor physicians and other
  • healthcareprofessionals

  • Arrange and coordinate effectivespeaker programmes with physician advocates andKOLs
  • Actively support Oncology nurses onrelevant trainings e.g. chemotherapy testingsolutions
  • Deliver on plans and achieve sales goals onbudget

  • Drive salesperformance and ensure sales forecasts meet or exceed expectationswhile managing assigned budgets
  • Successfullypromote the benefits of AZs Oncology brands using fair balancemessages and the appropriate mix of promotionaltools
  • Ensure AZs products are optimallyutilised in line with national / local guidelines and the productlicense
  • Corporateresponsibility :

  • Successfullycomplete all training requirements including productexaminations
  • Comply with all externalregulations and internal policies
  • Maintainshighest ethical standards and work in a spirit of AstraZeneca Codeof Ethics following rules & norms set by corporatepolicies
  • Ensures that all conducted activitiesare done in accordance with local legislation and corporatestandards.
  • Timely reports (as per respectiveprocedures) : health / environment / wellbeing related accidents;adverse events that you became aware about; change in status ofyour Conflict ofInterest.

    Essential for the role

  • SaudiNational.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experiencewith a sound knowledge of accountmanagement.
  • Speciality and InstitutionalBusiness experience.
  • Experience in either inHaematology Cell Therapeutics or Oncology Therapy areas is aplus.
  • Track record of engaging key stakeholdersin complex clinical environments e.g. mid and senior levelhealthcare professionals key accounts and the medicalcommunity
  • Proven track record in influencingthe stakeholder decisionmaking process in an ecosystem withmultiple influential players / decision makers with proven trackrecord of creating value in complex DMU
