Job descriptionWorking knowledge of the methods of installation and repair of piping systems. Working knowledge of the methods of overhaul and repair of valves. Working knowledge of safety precautions in the pipefitting trade. Ability to use tools and equipment necessary to affect repairs. Ability to read piping and mechanical drawings. Shall be able to tack weld pipes and qualified for arc welding of small diameter steel piping. Working knowledge of the characteristics of pipes constructed of a variety of materials. Undertake pressure testing of Piping systems. 1-2 years of experience in Piping in Oil / Gas industry. Working knowledge of the methods of installation and repair of piping systems.
