Job description

Overview

Design and execute comprehensive data quality testing strategies for ETL processes, Big Data, and data-intensive applications, including BAO, MDM, and data migration projects.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of business requirements to design optimized test scenarios ensuring data quality and integrity.
Plan and execute testing activities, including estimating work efforts, creating detailed test cases, and identifying test environment and test data requirements.
Utilize manual and automated testing solutions to execute test cases, report status, and manage defect creation, triage, and resolution.
Analyze test outcomes and leverage analytical and cognitive techniques to drive continuous improvements in data quality.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data architects to ensure testing aligns with business and technical objectives.

Skills

Strong experience in ETL testing, Big Data testing, and data-intensive application testing.

Familiarity with BAO, MDM, and data migration frameworks.

Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and test data management.

Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools for data validation and quality checks.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.

Ability to communicate test results and data quality insights effectively to stakeholders.

Knowledge of data governance, data profiling, and data quality best practices.
