GL Senior Accountant

We are looking for experienced

GL Senior Accountant

to join our Finance team in KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets by approving payable transactions, analyzing supplier accounts, custodies, and intermediary accounts, coordinating with suppliers to streamline the payable cycle, and supporting audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily operations across

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets .

Record accruals and prepaid expenses accurately in the accounting system.

Review and process petty cash expense reports and ensure timely reimbursement.

Verify and record intercompany reconciliation entries.

Review bank statements and perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.

Record and validate VAT input / output and withholding tax transactions.

Release recorded sales orders, ensuring correct credit limits, pricing, and shipping terms are applied in line with customer agreements.

Post sales invoices related to processed sales orders.

Coordinate with the sales team to follow up on collections and record deposits once received in the bank.

Execute monthly closing activities in accordance with the financial calendar.

Prepare monthly financial reports for review by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector

Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations in KSA

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Completion of professional certificates such as

Financial Accounting (A) ,

Finance and Accounting Tips (A) , and

Corporate Financial Statement Analysis (A)

is a plus.

CPA

or

ACCA

certification is a plus
