Your Role

The I&C Field Service Engineer will provide expert service and technical support for instrumentation and control systems across the MEA region and Pakistan. This role ensures reliable operation of process control systems, troubleshooting, calibration, and commissioning activities. The engineer will act as the primary technical interface with customers, delivering high-quality service and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on instrumentation and control systems.
  • Execute preventive maintenance, calibration, and functional testing of sensors, transmitters, and control devices.
  • Handle revamps, upgrades & other special projects.
  • Commission and configure control systems (PLC, Surge Control, Etc.).
  • Prepare work schedules, risk assessments, and method statements for service orders.
  • Deliver detailed service reports and documentation post-job completion.
  • Recommend spare parts, upgrades, and system enhancements to customers.
  • Provide technical support and training to customer personnel on instrumentation and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and site-specific safety plans.
  • Collaborate with product companies to resolve technical issues and customer queries.
  • Maintain flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and on-call schedules.

To Succeed, You Will Need

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Relevant technical certifications in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Minimum 3 years in servicing, maintaining, and commissioning instrumentation and control systems.

    • Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC, DCS, SCADA programming and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of signal processing, calibration techniques, and loop checks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.
