Job description15 years of experience in golf course construction management, preferably within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Proven track record of managing successful golf course projects, from planning through to completion. Experience working on projects funded by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations specific to golf course development. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines. Proficient in project management software and tools to track project progress and performance. Relevant certifications in construction management or project management are a plus. Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed to oversee construction activities. Agricultural or Landscape Architecture Expertise : In-depth knowledge of landscape architecture and agricultural engineering, particularly as it pertains to golf course design and construction. Construction Management : Strong proficiency in managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful delivery. Project Budgeting : Ability to develop and manage project budgets effectively, ensuring that all work is completed within financial constraints. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact efficiently with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Leadership and Team Management : Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and productivity across diverse groups.
We are looking for a highly qualified Golf Construction Manager to join our team in Al Hamra, Jeddah. This pivotal role involves overseeing the construction and development of golf courses, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in golf course construction, particularly within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and have a strong background in managing large-scale projects. The Golf Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to deliver exceptional golfing experiences that meet the needs of our clientele.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of golf course construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage project teams and resources effectively, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the construction process.
- Collaborate with landscape architects and engineers to develop project specifications and design plans tailored to golf course requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during construction promptly, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns as they arise.
- Prepare detailed reports on project performance, including financial metrics, timelines, and any challenges encountered.
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations in golf course design, and best practices for construction management.
- Mentor and guide junior staff and project team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in golf course construction.
