Location : Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose : As a Technician / Trainer Type II, you will be responsible for implementing the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and Saudi National Technical Training Program (SNTTP). Your role involves training RSAF / SNTTP Trainee Technicians from Skill Level 3 to Skill Level 7, following RSAF policies and procedures, ensuring resource efficiency and applying Best Practice principles for training excellence. You will mentor newly qualified RSAF and Saudi National technicians within the Secondary Calibration Squadron (SCS), Dhahran, serving as a first-level expert in Mechanical or Electrical measurement areas. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing advice and guidance on an ongoing basis. Your responsibilities include performing calibration, adjustments, alignments, repairs, and maintenance on RSAF Test, Measuring, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) related to aircraft, weapons, aerospace ground equipment, and support equipment, in accordance with RSAF standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage resources to ensure timely completion of tasks as per RSAF directives.
  • Maintain laboratory standards and ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Stay current with MetCal methodologies and techniques, acting as SME.
  • Assist in implementing RSAF training programs per manuals and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including tools and safety equipment.
  • Deputize for supervisors when required.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by command staff.
  • Provide technical advice, knowledge transfer, safety guidance, and mentoring to RSAF and SN technicians.

Recruitment Specification

  • Educated to at least Ordinary National Certificate level or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Completed formal training in calibration, repair, and alignment of TMDE, with knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical calibration.
  • Extensive practical experience with calibration and repair of TMDE, familiar with RSAF standards and manuals.
  • Strong managerial, engineering judgment, and leadership skills, with practical metrology knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with high personal integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
