Prepare and review technical specifications for projects in compliance with company standards, Saudi Building Code, and municipal regulations.
Develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) covering all trades (civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical).
Produce and coordinate shop drawings aligned with approved designs and specifications.
Review and approve submittals from contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Monitor changes and prepare updated BOQs and cost adjustments (Variation Orders).
Coordinate with design teams (architectural, structural, MEP) to ensure integration and accuracy of shop drawings.
Provide regular technical and financial reports to management on project progress, executed quantities, and cost control.
Participate in site meetings to validate shop drawings against actual execution.
Support quality control (QC) by checking completed works for compliance with drawings and specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying and shop drawings.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, advanced Excel).
Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and international standards (ASTM, BS, ANSI).
Strong experience in tender preparation, cost estimation, and quantity take-off.
