Senior Engineer, Reliability Performance
Identifies and manages asset reliability risks to plant or business operations and provides specialist technical advice to the Maintenance and Operation Divisions on statistical analysis, reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety systems. Develops analytical methods for determining reliability of components, equipment and processes and provides specialized technical guidance and support to the Reliability Engineers and the Discipline Engineering Section in developing and updating predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
Key Accountabilities
- Review and analyze data to determine what actual problem requires resolution and obtain any additional information needed to understand the problem.
- Keep track of failure events & prepare downtime reports and support the organization's Reliability KPIs.
- Conduct life‑data analysis (Weibull analysis or similar) and downtime analysis for all assets, calculating & monitoring all Reliability KPIs.
- Provide statistical inputs and support to rotating engineering and reliability methodology engineers during their methodology studies (RCM / RIS / RBI / RCA).
- Analyze plant performance and provide necessary input to reliability methodology (RCM, RIS & RBI).
- Track implementation of recommended actions to assure that actions taken satisfy expectations for problem resolution.
- Monitor equipment performance trends, recognizing and acting on deviations from reliability and availability targets of the facilities.
- Support reliability methodology engineers for methodology study / optimization by providing relevant inputs.
- Monitor and analyze EAM data for quality related to equipment performance.
