About the Role :
We are seeking an accomplished
Project Director
to lead a long-term, high-value construction program for a
major government entity
in Jeddah. The selected leader will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure, facilities, and residential developments — ensuring delivery excellence, operational integrity, and strategic alignment with national development objectives.
This position requires a seasoned professional capable of managing
multiple contractors (6+ companies)
and leading a
Diverse workforce of more than 200 professionals , driving performance across engineering, construction, and project management functions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and executive leadership throughout all project phases — from design and mobilization to execution and final handover.
Supervise and coordinate multiple subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
Implement and enforce rigorous governance, HSE standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks aligned with government requirements.
Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.
Establish advanced reporting systems, KPIs, and performance dashboards for executive management visibility.
Develop and empower multidisciplinary teams through mentorship, delegation, and a culture of accountability.
Anticipate project risks and proactively design mitigation plans to ensure business continuity and operational success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in
Civil Engineering ,
Construction Management , or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum
18 years of progressive leadership experience
in large-scale construction and infrastructure programs.
Proven expertise in
heavy infrastructure ,
building facilities , and
residential development
projects.
Prior experience working with
governmental or semi-governmental entities
in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong command of project financials, contracts, and risk management principles.
Ability to lead large multicultural teams (200+ employees) across multiple organizations.
Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
