A new client for ICG an industrial real estate developer headquartered in Saudi Arabia is looking for a senior expert in urban planning to act as an Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the project providing benchmarks best practices ideas and lessons learned to the team

Role Our client is embarking on creating an industrial master plan for the development of a 1 million square metre plot of land in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. They seek one or two world class urban planners with experience developing industrial master plans with all the logistics that successful implementation requires. The role will include sharing with the project and its team best practice benchmarking and lessons learnt from previous and similar experiences with the ability for knowledge transfer into the project.

Logistics Start date Timing : With a start date as soon as possible the engagement will kick off with an initial few days of briefing then when the project commences the planning phase in a few months require 2 or more days per week for a minimum of 4 months to the point where the planning permission is submitted with a potential extension beyond that.

Location : Whilst the development land is located in Riyadh the role is expected to be filled remotely with off shore expertise. There is a small chance of the need to travel once to Saudi Arabia . There is no requirement for experience in this region or for proficiency in Arabic as the work and meetings will be conducted in English
