They are looking for an experienced Design and Safety Expert to provide technical expertise in design safety for nuclear installations.

The Design and Safety Expert’s role involves reviewing safety documentation, supporting licensing processes, and delivering on-the-job training and mentoring to relevant staff in their area of expertise.

Location : Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Key Accountabilities

• Provide technical expertise in design safety objectives, particularly during early interactions with the applicant to establish applicable standards.
• Support design safety and assessment during the review and evaluation of relevant chapters in the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR).
• Provide technical expertise in the area of nuclear safety capacity development, in particular design safety.
• Develop training programs and materials to support on-the-job training of staff, especially in the review and assessment of the PSAR and the development of safety evaluation reports.
