Construction MechanicalCompletion Engineer ensures the execution of all aspects related to mechanicalcompletion, both in Home Office and at Site.

Duties and responsibilities

In case of MILEMATE utilizationin a specific project, he / she will follow all MILEMATE activities for the specificproject, interfacing with mechanical completion leader.

InHome Office, his / her main responsibilities are :

To set up theconstruction / pre-commissioning / commissioning master ITP models.

Cooperate with mechanical completioncoordinator, engineering and commissioning team to ensure that all thedeliverables required to build the completion database are in line with thecontractual requirements (TAG list / family TAG list / system and subsystemlist / check sheet and ITP).

To upload in MILEMATE the informationprepared by the engineering functions like NPS / NPD / PD system definition,construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning ITP project models, disciplinetag extraction.

To generate all models necessary forreporting of site inspection for each TAG (construction / pre-commissioning / commissioning).

Participate to the development of MMtraining program for various project roles.

To ensure the set-up the user account ofnominated person of construction quality, in agreement with ICT.

To perform the gap analysis between companymaster ITP models and the project approved ITP models limited to construction.

To verify the models applicability / familyTAG gap analysis for construction phase.

To validate the datacollection uploaded in MILEMATE.

Atsite, operatively reporting to the mechanical completion coordinator or, ifnot present, to the construction Quality Manager, his / her main duties andresponsibilities are the following :

To receive (bydiscipline supervisors or quality construction inspectors) original punchlist, recording them on the punch list record logbook and assuring theirinsertion in MM.

To take care of the punch list progress,maintaining the updated report of the closed items, monitoring the status ofpending priority punch list in each subsystem and keeping construction managementinformed, and addressing discipline supervisors / subcontractors punch listclose-out as per given priority by the pre-commissioning group.

To take care of the provision of punch listsprintouts to supervisors, as well as of the collection of approval signaturesfrom the responsible, once the field works have been completed.

To monitor discipline completion, issuingthe discipline acceptance certificate according to handover procedure, when adiscipline is completed within a subsystem.

To monitor field completion dossier statusfor each subsystem / system, issuing the subsystem / system ready for commissioningcertificate according to handover procedure, when the subsystem / system is completed.

Assign subsystems / check sheets to eachcomponents / TAGS according to approved ITPs.

Participate to weekly meetings with construction / commissioning teams for hand over completion according to commissioningprioritization.

Verify that all the punch points areproperly characterized in the punch list forms before inputting them toMILEMATE.

Prepare all daily / weekly / monthly mechanicalcompletion reports that are shared with construction / commissioning teams.

Lead construction team to handover DAC(Discipline Acceptance Certificate).

Lead commissioning team to handover MCC(Mechanical Completion Certificate) to the client to implement commissioningactivities.

Issue DAC, MCC and RFSU with propercertificates and documents.

Prepare the final dossier (field inspectioncertification dossier).

Help the mechanical completion coordinator / engineers to populate the data into MILEMATE.

Scan all thecompleted Check sheets to MILEMATE! Insert / close the punch lists inMILEMATE, archiving properly all the documents.
