SENIOR RESPIRATORY THERAPY SPECIALIST.

Overview

The Senior Respiratory Therapy Specialist will administer respiratory therapeutic interventions in various settings such as neonatal, pediatric, and adult intensive care units, emergency departments, general wards and home care environments which includes diagnostic procedures, treatment, education and care for patients with respiratory disorders.

Operational Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and recommends written policy procedure and operation manuals
• Assist physicians in the management of patients in the critical care units requiring continuous ventilator life support
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members
• Perform calibration quality controls and routine maintenance of respiratory equipment
• Manage and support all respiratory care patients in the Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal populations

Qualifications

Diploma in Respiratory Therapy with Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certificate, or International Bachelor\'s degree in respiratory therapy with Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certificate, or Bachelor\'s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Saudi Arabia. Master\'s Degree is preferred

Professional Certifications Required

Current BLS Certification. Subspecialty in respiratory care or sleep technology is preferred.

Years of Experience

Minimum 8 years of related experience required

Languages

English : Advanced; Arabic : Basic
