Job Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer – Architectural to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing architectural designs for various projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations while delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
Create and modify architectural drawings and specifications using CAD software
Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts and solutions
Perform structural calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate architectural designs
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and monitor construction progress
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical reports and presentations
Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and address concerns
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable design practices
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the department
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
15 years of experience in architectural design engineering
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills
In‑depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly in Saudi Arabia
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with sustainable design principles and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Professional licensure (e.g., PE) preferred
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
