Laboratory Specialist

Sanar Medical Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Specialist to join our professional clinical laboratory team. Key Duties & Responsibilities

Perform authorized laboratory tests in accordance with approved protocols and procedures

Handle, process, and analyze clinical specimens with accuracy and efficiency

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment

Ensure compliance with internal and external quality control standards

Document and report laboratory results promptly and accurately

Follow laboratory biosafety and infection‑control protocols at all times

Participate in troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and equipment maintenance tasks

Support onboarding and training of junior laboratory personnel

Contribute to continuous improvement and accreditation standards

Perform any additional duties assigned by laboratory management

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field

Valid SCFHS license (Specialist – Laboratory) is mandatory

Proven experience in a clinical laboratory environment

Strong knowledge of lab techniques, equipment operation, and diagnostic procedures

Solid understanding of quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance

Ability to follow and implement lab SOPs and safety guidelines

High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills

Strong organizational, multitasking, and time‑management abilities

Professional communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

Previous supervisory or senior‑level laboratory experience

Experience working with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
