Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

  • Maximize sales volume and achieve distribution targets while minimizing stale product.
  • Implement agreed merchandising standards and manage accounts receivable with high levels of customer service.
  • Follow operating procedures to ensure consistent standards across the region and provide latest market information to supervisor to develop sales opportunities.
  • Attend training courses to improve professionalism and customer service; complete a daily debriefing with the supervisor.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers; sales measured against targets; keep stale levels below target.
  • Ensure customers receive supervisor-approved service; maintain call frequency and daily route plan to sustain customer satisfaction; supervisor reviews daily visits during debriefings.
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks; keep the sales vehicle clean and roadworthy; report any defects to the supervisor.
  • Agree order requirements for the next selling period on a daily basis.
  • Maintain individual customer stock levels to minimize out-of-stock issues.
  • Implement in-store merchandising as communicated by the supervisor; coordinate with any external merchandisers as planned.
  • Report relevant competitor activity to the supervisor during daily debriefings.
  • Daily reconciliation of cheques, cash, and credit sales; maintain zero stock and cash shortages.
  • Maintain professional appearance and driving standards; adhere to driving regulations.
  • KPIs include daily / weekly sales vs plan, daily positive calls vs plan, daily call sequence vs plan, sales vs target, and zero cash & stock shortages.
  • Qualifications

  • Customer service skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic.
  • Analytical skills.
