Responsibilities
- Teach in the relevant subject area according to the approved syllabus.
- Conduct general technical courses not restricted to specific Weapon systems.
- Deliver or supervise demonstrations in the relevant subject area.
- Conduct visits to relevant areas of interest.
- Remove, install, inspect, maintain, modify operationally check and troubleshoot the Jet Engine system, using both standard and specialist tool associated with both intermediate and organizational maintenance.
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure students are progressing academically.
- Conduct phase-end examinations to ensure training objectives have been achieved.
- Adopt and promote independent learning and a military ethos in line with the training
- Provide on-going evaluation of students discipline as part of their final assessment.
- Counsel and motivate students, where applicable, on relevant academic and discipline issues.
- Record students’ academic assessment results.
- Record any discipline issues with students.
- Provide regular reports concerning student’s academic progress, lesson attendance and discipline.
- Report any other relevant issues whenever required or deemed appropriate
- Regularly review the relevant subject area’s courseware.
- Recommend changes to the relevant course material.
- Review and recommend changes to assessment material in the relevant subject area.
- Integrate new training materials or equipment into the relevant course.
- Ensure all training equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Contribute to preparation of timetables, scheduling and allocation of instructors.
Job Requirements :
Must be a graduate of a Service or Civilian Technical Training Institute.Must have successfully completed a formal Instructional Techniques Course.Must have Tornado Aircraft Jet Engine course no.(55028)Must be skill level 7 or equivalent.Must have Tornado Aircraft Jet Engine experience.Must have an understanding of RSAFM 105-31 - Technical, Academic and Professional Training centre Procedures.Must have a minimum of 3 years recent classroom experience as a Technical Instructor.A minimum of 8 years practical experience in equipment service and Maintenance, appropriate to this field.Must have a high standard of English language, spoken and written.Must be TSP1, TSP2, TS3 oriented, and SD4.Computer literate, with a fully conversant working knowledge of Microsoft Office; especially MS Word and PowerPoint.Must have a sound knowledge of the RSAF Maintenance Management System. (RSAFI 4-7166-1) and the RSAF Maintenance Documentation Requirements and Procedures. (RSAFI 4-7120 Series).Must have a sound knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical principles as applied to aircraft concepts and application of RSAFM 4-7166-1 series.Perform all instructor's duties.Operation of the Tornado RB199 engine, secondary power system and aircraft fuel systems to include redatum procedures using both GTB, MECU. DGU, FITS and SPS test sets.Remove, install, inspect, maintain, modify and troubleshoot systems such as Tornado RB199 engine, secondary power system and aircraft fuel systems, using both standard and specialist tools associated with both organizational and intermediate maintenance.Using blueprints, diagrams, schematics and technical publications.Must be fully conversant with all Tornado engine OM procedures to include Safety.Must be fully conversant with all Tornado engine OM procedures to include deep strip, inspection and build of the RB199 EngineNo record of emotional instability.Must be certified with the engine ground run full operation.SAUDI NATIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
