Technical Expert – Standardization and Regulations

Responsibilities Support the development and enhancement of standards, technical regulations, and non-tariff measures to improve the global competitiveness of locally produced goods.

Analyze value chains, manufacturing capabilities, and local industrial inputs to inform standardization efforts and promote access to international markets.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including manufacturers and academic institutions, while aligning with international standardization practices.

Provide strategic and technical input on the impact of proposed standards on industry localization and specific product classifications (HS-12).

Qualifications Proven experience in developing standards, technical regulations, and addressing technical barriers in emerging and high-growth sectors.

In-depth understanding of international standards, particularly ISO.

Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and building strong professional relationships.
