Role Purpose The Hard Services Engineer provides technical and regulatory expertise and input to the design, specification, contract development and implementation of all Hard Services, within the FM Property-based Team.
Key Accountabilities
Possess knowledge of Hard Services objectives and approach set out in the FM Strategy and ability to align service design and delivery with the Strategy approach accordingly
Develop Hard Services detailed specifications to meet the requirements and methods of the FM Strategy and prevent lack of fit and possible anomalies
Work closely with the FM Contractor to schedule to delivery of the Hard Services Program on site
Implement the Hard Services enabling SOPs in the site delivery of Hard Services identifying the required Osool resource and capability needs to manage the Hard Services Program
Prepare Hard Services design and specifications to optimize budget management and value of services delivered
Provide input and feedback on FM Contractor performance with respect to Hard Services contractual SLAs and service KPIs to support the validation of the contractor monthly payment reports
Analyse data and evaluate required future funding to meet forecast future demand on Hard Services
Contribute to the identification of sustainable and cost saving initiatives, within Hard Services, through value enhancing initiatives to support Hard Services process redesign for continuous improvement to enhance service quality and achieve cost efficiencies
Manage Hard Services delivery operations by the FM Contractor on site by implementing the relevant SOPs to ensure optimal outcomes in accordance with the Contract
Manage the site execution of the Planned Hard FM Program delivery by the FM Contractor in line with the relevant SOPs and KPIs
Oversee the site delivery of the Reactive and Emergency works in accordance with the relevant SOPs ensuring satisfactory outcomes and minimizing impact on service availability
Identify Hard Services operations risks and record on the FM Risk Register and assessment for analysis and mitigation in accordance with the FM Operations Risk Management SOP
Utilize the FM Department's Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) in planning and managing relevant Hard Services delivery and updating data and information to support future planning and decision-making.
Requirements
Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, property management or similar.
Graduate with Minimum 3 Years of Experience.
Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or similar desirable.
Fluent in verbal and written English Arabic desirable
