Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced OT Cybersecurity consultant leading the entire client OT / IoT Program and overseeing the development and execution of our operational technology (OT) cybersecurity initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader who can guide a multidisciplinary team, manage projects effectively, and ensure the successful delivery of cybersecurity programs within our organization.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- A. Leadership & Team Management : Lead and mentor a diverse team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and performance in OT cybersecurity practices.
- B. Program Management Office (PMO) Responsibilities : Establish and manage the PMO for OT cybersecurity, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Define program objectives, KPIs, and success metrics, and monitor progress against targets. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.
- C. Cybersecurity Strategy Development : Develop and execute a comprehensive OT cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities within OT environments and develop mitigation strategies.
- D. Technical Specifications : Perform analysis of the architecture and infrastructure of Industrial Control Systems (SCADA / DCS / IIoT) in the context of cybersecurity. Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for Industrial Control Systems. Support leading ICS security projects within a Security Transformation program. Develop ICS Control Frameworks based on industry best practices and applicable international and national standards. Implement or improve ICS security management processes at clients’ organizations.
- E. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance, to ensure a unified approach to cybersecurity. Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership and other stakeholders. Liaise with IT / OT cybersecurity teams, site teams. Familiar with SIEM solutions and OT security products; SIEM integration. Familiar with OT Asset Inventory and Vulnerability Management solutions (e.g., Nozomi, Dragos). Use case development and tuning for OT security threat detections. GRID Certificate or official training is a plus.
- F. Continuous Improvement : Conduct regular assessments of the cybersecurity program and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements. Assess current-state capabilities, identify gaps, and plan initiatives to address gaps and accomplish project goals, including building out cybersecurity monitoring and response in operational environments.
Must Have
Have more than 8 years of experience overall (mixed between mainstream Automation Systems exposure and OT Cybersecurity exposure).Proven track in IT / OT cybersecurity general management consulting with stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.Fluent in Arabic and English.Ability to work with the organization\'s leadership to provide a comprehensive, organization-wide approach to address OT cybersecurity risk and compliance.Ability to communicate technical and planning information at the same level as a stakeholder’s understanding.Knowledge and understanding of risk assessment, mitigation, and treatment methods.Certified in GICSP, GRID or equal certifications are added value.Why join us?
