Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer with proven expertise in the design, fabrication, and execution of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers . The role involves leading and managing engineering activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with ASME, TEMA, and relevant codes .
Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end project execution for pressure vessel and heat exchanger fabrication.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Manage client communication, clarify technical queries, and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, QA / QC, and fabrication teams for seamless project execution.
Engineering & Technical Support
Review and approve fabrication drawings, material specifications, and design documents.Ensure compliance with ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 & 2, TEMA, API, and other relevant standards.Perform design calculations, stress analysis, and thermal / hydraulic analysis where required.Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and testing stages.Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards, codes, and client specifications.Oversee inspection, NDT, hydro testing, and final documentation.Drive compliance with HSE standards throughout project execution.Commercial & Financial Aspects
Assist in project costing, budget monitoring, and resource allocation.Support in technical proposals, bid evaluations, and client negotiations.Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect project margins.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.Experience
7–12 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchanger fabrication .Proven track record in leading medium to large-scale fabrication projects.Strong knowledge of ASME, TEMA, API, ASTM codes and fabrication processes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
