Responsibilities

• Develops cybersecurity strategy in line with its business strategy as per the guidelines provided by NCA.
• Monitors organization-wide security operations (vulnerability scanning, log correlation) and conduct investigations.
• Monitors and investigates all potential threats and weaknesses to protect the organization from unexpected events such as cyber-attacks /
• hacking, and reactively manages the events as they occur.
• Effectively communicates financial aspects of cybersecurity-related activities to senior management.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery programs meet organizational requirements.
• Promotes awareness of cybersecurity policy and strategy as appropriate among the organization's management and employees.
• Carrys out a cybersecurity risk assessment across the organization.
• Ensures that appropriate controls are in place to effectively mitigate risk and address privacy concerns during a risk assessment process.
• Communicates effectively with third parties in the event of a cybersecurity incident.
• Reviews the effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity controls against its strategic goals.
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to mitigate the risk in the event of a cybersecurity incident.
• Advocates cybersecurity-related topics with senior management, to ensure the organization's strategic goals include cybersecurity.
• Ensures that organizational cybersecurity strategy is effectively addressed by cybersecurity policies and related documents.
• Ensures cybersecurity requirements related to information technology systems are determined and communicated to stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains appropriate cybersecurity policies and related documentation to ensure the organization's critical infrastructure is appropriately protected.
• Collaborates with stakeholders in the organization and with third parties when identifying future cybersecurity strategy requirements.
• Obtains relevant resources to implement and maintain the cybersecurity aspects of an effective business continuity plan.
• Develops and maintains a cybersecurity strategy that aligns to the organization's business strategy.
• Ensures that cybersecurity requirements for IT are aligned with the organization’s cybersecurity strategy.
• Manages financial aspects of cybersecurity, including budgeting and resourcing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the line manager.
