Junior Accountant

Job descriptionRecord journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts. Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Assist in maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and receivable. Help ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local financial regulations. Assist in preparing and filing tax returns and other regulatory reports. Support external and internal audit processes. Assist in tracking intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Help with the allocation of shared expenses and revenues among subsidiaries. Support budgeting and financial forecasting activities. Maintain financial documentation and support automation of accounting processes. Use accounting software and tools efficiently. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience : 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships or entry-level roles preferred). Skills : Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ZohoBooks) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Strong numerical and analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Detail-Oriented : Ability to ensure accuracy in financial data. Integrity : High ethical standards when handling financial information. Problem-Solving : Basic analytical skills to support financial decision-making. Adaptability : Willingness to learn and adjust to a fast-paced work environment. Standard office environment with possible occasional travel. Full-time position, with potential extended hours during financial closing periods.
