Senior Electrician

Job Summary

Altaaqa Alternative Solutions Co. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to join the Power Rental Division. The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of diesel generator sets, transformers, and electrical systems for rental equipment. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision while ensuring adherence to company safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and fault analysis of rental power equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems on diesel generator sets and related equipment (preferably CAT).
• Conduct both minor and major electrical repairs within assigned technical capabilities.
• Perform manual synchronization of generator sets using EMCP control panels.
• Monitor and adjust generator readings (kW, A, kVAR, power factor, etc.) for optimal operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal procedures at all times.
• Prepare accurate and detailed inspection and fault reports in accordance with service protocols.
• Report any equipment defects, misuse, or damage and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other service personnel in generator setup, connection, and testing.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of all testing tools and accessories.
• Work overtime or at remote locations across the Kingdom as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Supervisor.
