Job Summary

The Heavy Equipment Electrical Technician is responsible for the electrical diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of various heavy machinery and vehicles. You will use your expertise to identify and fix electrical faults, ensuring that all equipment, from forklifts to excavators, operates safely and reliably. This role requires precision and knowledge of complex electrical systems found in a variety of heavy-duty brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, loaders, trucks, and forklifts.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and components on various brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Wilson, Mercedes Trucks, TCM, Toyota, and Mitsubishi Forklifts.
• Conduct pre-emptive electrical inspections to prevent potential failures and reduce unscheduled maintenance.
• Install new electrical systems or components as required.
• Work in strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to prevent accidents and ensure the longevity of the equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

Education : A Technical Diploma or a Certificate in Electrical or Automotive Technology from a government-recognized institution.

Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment electrical repair.
