Contract Formation (Procurement) Manager
Bechtel Corporation invites qualified candidates to apply for the Contract Formation (Procurement) Manager role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary
Provide project management consulting services on the New Murabba development, coordinating procurement of tender packages and supervising contract administration.
Major Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day pre‑award procurement activities, including feedback on pricing structures and procurement routes.
- Prequalification management and drafting of tender plans and governance documents.
- Maintain reports, registers, presentations, and correspondence.
- Coordinate activities across Bechtel, client, consultants, and contractors.
- Organize candidate and workshop meetings, ensuring alignment on contractual matters.
- Review contract terms and conditions with client advisors.
- Develop RFP documents using project templates.
- Issue tenders and manage the tender process, tracking and closing queries.
- Evaluate submitted tenders and negotiate with client and tenderers.
- Recommend award documents and award associated contracts.
Post‑Award Responsibilities
Identify and monitor risk areas in contract terms and conditions.Implement compliance monitoring mechanisms.Resolve contract claims and engage legal where necessary.Receive and manage contract deliverables for handover and close‑out.Control status reporting documents.Prepare and maintain reports, registers, presentations, and correspondence.Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or applicable field.15+ years of procurement work experience.Experience on infrastructure projects and / or real estate developments.Professional accreditation (MRICS, MCIPS or equivalent) preferred.Required Knowledge & Skills
Contract pricing structures, contract law, drafting and tendering procedures.FIDIC suite of contracts and utilization on major construction projects.Procurement experience on mega / giga infrastructure projects.Contract review and document accuracy skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Project management principles and practice.Budgeting, cost control and financial principles.Strong organization and multi‑contract management.Knowledge of engineering / construction industry contracting practices and regulations.Total Rewards & Benefits
