Job description

” The Job Description”

  • Manage, configure, and maintain Oracle Applications databases.
  • Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning measures.
  • Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to the database environment.
  • Ensure database security and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with developers to support application development activities.
  • Resolve complex database issues and provide technical support as needed.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and changes.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Apps DBA or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Applications and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in database administration, patch management, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of database security protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
