Government Affairs Specialist

Job Responsibilities :

Coordinate internally to assist visit agenda by High-level Chinese Government Officials to head office and project sites during their saudi visits.

Coordinate externally with government counterparties to confirm meetings.

Coordinate with all functions to organize and execute the meetings and receptions of visiting gov officials.

Handle day-to-day communication and coordination with China Office for gov requests and other tasks.

Follow up action on meetings with government and push forward internal coordination across internal functions.

Form clear timetable for major events / calendar of relevance hosted by Saudi government.

Plan and execute year-round participation in key Saudi gov trips to China in conjunction with China visits of global and China leadership.

Monitor and analyze China policies affecting the organization.

Assist in developing and implementing advocacy strategies to influence policy outcomes in alignment with organizational goals.

Prepare position papers, testimony, and briefing materials.

Track and report on government activities, policy trends, and potential risks / opportunities.

Requirements :

Minimum 8 years + working experience.

Prefer the candidate with work experience in government / sizable mature multi-national company.

Proficient in government protocols and work procedures with a deep understanding of government work and structure.

Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. English-Chinese interpretation skills is a plus.

Outstanding coordination skills, able to develop plans amid changes with strong will to coordinate across departments.
