Job descriptionDesign, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS. Monitor and optimize SSIS package performance and troubleshoot failures. Manage SSIS catalog, deployments, and scheduling of packages. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data validation and error handling mechanisms. Collaborate with database administrators and developers to integrate SSIS with other systems. Administer and maintain SSAS instances, including multidimensional and tabular models. Optimize SSAS cube performance, including partitioning, aggregations, and processing schedules. Implement and manage security roles and permissions within SSAS. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSAS processing, queries, and connectivity. Work with data architects and analysts to design and deploy SSAS solutions. Monitor system health, performance, and availability of BI tools and services. Perform regular backups, updates, and patches for BI tools and related systems. Document processes, configurations, and best practices for BI administration. Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between BI tools and business objectives. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in BI and data analytics. Power BI Administration
- Manage and administer the Power BI service, including workspaces, datasets, reports, and dashboards.
- Monitor and optimize Power BI performance, including data refresh schedules and query performance.
- Implement and enforce security policies, including row-level security (RLS) and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data sources, and gateways.
- Collaborate with business users to design and deploy Power BI solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and updates, and implement best practices.
