Job description

Overview

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for preparing and delivering the required parts to assembly line as per parts check list / packing list in accordance with daily production schedule and cycle time in a safe and efficient manner.

Education

Technical / vocational training / diploma course or equivalent

Work Experience

0-2 years

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to read and understand packing lists
  • Ability to read and understand equipment check sheets
  • A sound technical mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility / adaptability at work

Physical Requirements

  • Should be able to lift weights up to 20 kg
  • Should be able to use hands and fingers to grasp, move, or assemble objects
  • Should be able to work in bend / standing position for prolonged time

    • Roles, responsibilities, and authorities

  • Prepares and delivers parts in allotted stages in the Warehouse area.
  • Unpacks and sorts cases of parts.
  • Arranges parts according to the kitting list.
  • Delivers parts to the assembly line.
  • Performs 3S before and after operations.
  • Devans cases.
  • Operates forklift.
  • Operates hoist.
  • Drives Tow Truck.
  • Fills out check sheets.
