Job Brief We are looking for Senior Accountants to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Senior Accountant responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger and preparing month‑end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Duties and Responsibilities

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

Coordinate accounting functions and programs.

Prepare financial analyses and reports.

Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation.

Summarize and prepare financial status and transaction reports, including a profit and loss statement and other necessary reports.

Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.

Guide junior accountants and staff by answering questions and coordinating informational classes.

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

Participate in financial standards setting and forecast processes.

Prepare financial statements and produce budgets according to schedule.

Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

Play a vital part in the company’s financial management, including all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties.

Qualifications

BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant subject.

Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant.

Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.

Familiarity with accounting software packages.

Excellent analytical and time‑management skills.

Keen attention to detail.
