JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor (PC) under the Government-to-Government arrangements to provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We maintain Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF personnel in a safe training environment on aircraft, equipment, and weapons. This role is responsible for performing and supervising all aircraft maintenance activities related to the Engine, Propeller, and Fuel Systems, including on-the-job training (OJT) and production inspections. The technician troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, and operates all related aircraft systems, components, and support equipment.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide operationally capable aircraft supporting KFAA pilot training by performing servicing, fault troubleshooting, modifications, inspections, and evaluations of aircraft systems at the intermediate maintenance level.
• Support KFAA mission and aircraft servicing programs through workshop support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and inspections at the intermediate level.
• Support specialty evaluations, interpretations, and determinations of corrective actions for aircraft systems and support equipment at the intermediate level.
• Provide informal and formal OJT to RSAF and BAE Systems Saudi personnel to facilitate RSAF or civilian Saudisation of intermediate maintenance operations.
• Obtain and maintain necessary certifications to support maintenance functions.
• Develop expertise in RSAF aircraft data management and tracking systems such as MIRO Gold.
• Understand and adhere to RSAF FOD and Safety Programs.
