Summary : The Procurement Engineer is vital for efficient supply chain management, focusing on sourcing materials and negotiating contracts in Saudi Arabia. This role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and budget management to ensure timely project execution. The ideal candidate will excel in vendor relations and compliance with procurement policies while contributing to cross-functional teams to enhance procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to source materials and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers; manage supplier relationships and performance.
Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to optimize value and risk.
Collaborate with project teams to align procurement with project schedules and budgets.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the Saudi market.

Strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and budget management.

Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
