Job Description :

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Data Centre Specialist – Cooling Systems to join our team!

In this role, you will oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of all cooling infrastructure for a fast-track hyperscale data centre project targeting Uptime Institute Tier III / IV certification. The facility includes high-density IT loads and requires robust, redundant cooling systems to maintain optimal environmental conditions and ensure continuous operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical leadership on cooling system design, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier III / IV standards for environmental control and system resilience.
• Review and validate thermal load calculations, cooling capacity, and redundancy strategies.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and commissioning teams.
• Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and ensure cooling systems perform under simulated failure conditions.
• Monitor installation quality and ensure alignment with project specifications and performance criteria.
• Participate in risk assessments, technical reviews, and energy optimization initiatives.
• Support documentation, training, and handover to operations teams.
