Appliance Technician

The

Appliance Technician

is responsible for performing

repair and maintenance services

to

domestic and industrial appliances

across facilities, ensuring reliable operation and adherence to safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities : Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain

domestic appliances

including hotplates, griddles, microwave ovens, food warmers, washing machines, dryers, food display cabinets, ice makers, coffee machines, freezers, garbage disposals, and deep fryers. Perform service and repairs on

industrial appliances

such as hotplates, griddles, microwave ovens, food warmers, washing machines, dryers, food display cabinets, ice makers, coffee machines, freezers, garbage disposals, and deep fryers. Maintain and troubleshoot

automated refrigeration systems , including critical cooling systems such as those used in medical or high-security environments. Interpret

technical diagrams and electrical schematics

of appliances and ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. Disassemble, repair, test, and commission

electrical / electronic control systems

and related protective devices. Communicate effectively with internal departments and technical teams regarding repair requirements, upgrades, and service needs. Recommend and facilitate

equipment upgrades , modifications, and sourcing of spare parts necessary for appliance reliability. Work Experience Requirements : Minimum

5 years of hands-on experience

in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of

domestic and industrial appliances . Education Requirements : Diploma

from a

Vocational Training School

in

Electrical, Electronics, or Refrigeration , along with
