Civil Design Engineer - Construction- Roads & infrastructure | Saudi Arabia

Work Location : Rotation in Saudi Arabia

Key Accountabilities

Supervise and manage on-site road and infrastructure construction activities in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with project managers, design consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient execution of works.

Track project progress, ensuring alignment with deadlines, budgets , and compliance with HSE standards .

Conduct inspections and quality control checks across earthworks, subgrade, base course, asphalt, signage, storm drainage, sewage, firefighting, irrigation systems, and utilities .

Ensure full compliance with local authority requirements, including Ministry of Transport (MoT) regulations .

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports .

Resolve site-related technical challenges and propose effective construction improvements.

Oversee material procurement planning and ensure availability of necessary resources.

Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive safety measures.

Support the project team in cost estimation, planning, and execution tracking .

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience in road and infrastructure construction projects .

Solid knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and infrastructure execution standards .

Familiarity with wet utility systems such as sewage, storm drainage, firefighting, and irrigation networks .

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera, MS Project , and related project tools.

Ability to interpret blueprints, utility layouts, and technical roadwork drawings .

Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Familiarity with municipal codes and MoT infrastructure regulations .

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in dynamic site environments.
