Senior SQA Engineer (Manual)

Job Summary

Manual Testers with a strong understanding of testing fundamentals and the ability to operate effectively in a micro-services-based architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing test scripts, tracing API calls via application logs, and working in dynamic enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities

Execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements. Use basic testing tools to record, manage, and track testing progress and defects. Review application logs to trace end-to-end flow of API calls across distributed systems. Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing as needed. Understand microservices architecture to navigate logs and validate service interactions. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure quality and traceability. Document test results, raise defects, and participate in defect triaging. Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of hands-on manual testing experience. Proficiency in using basic testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar. Ability to read and analyze application logs (e.g., in ELK stack, CloudWatch, or similar). Understanding of microservices environments and distributed system behaviors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Basic understanding of APIs and their validation methods. Nice to Have
